Invalid Sim Error on IPHONE

So the other morning after getting home from work I had a message pop up on my phone that said “no sim” I tapped ok didn’t think anything of it and then another message popped up and said “sim not supported” I absolutely did not have any service at this point so we looked on apples website and tried some of the basic troubleshooting.If anyone ever has this happen to them here are some basic steps before contacting your carrier.
